PV Grid-tie Solutions
Grid-tie systems generate electricity through renewable energy technologies and are also directly coupled to the national utility grid. This configuration ensures maximum return on investment since renewable energy is always used first. Furthermore, no change-over or switch gear is required, ensuring seamless operation. In addition to a grid-tie systems, battery backup can be introduce to either supply energy throughout programme blackouts or to use the system as an grid-tie (island) system.
These solutions are designed according to the client’s needs – ideal for residential and commercial applications. These systems can be design with the option to be expanded.
Rural and Residential off-grid solutions
Also referred to as stand-alone system, off-grid energy solutions are usually installed in remote areas that do not have access to the national grid. As the name indicates, these systems are not connected to the national grid. Off-grid systems use renewable energy technology that generates power which is stored in batteries.
Solar PV modules, wind turbines, water turbines and generators are used in conjunction with batteries and battery inverters to establish an island grid. With this configuration areas without access to the public grid are enabled to use general electrical equipment or appliances.
Solar Water Pumping Solutions
Submersible pumps powered by solar PV system are an ideal solution for water supply in remote areas. Since these solar pumps are DC (direct current) powered, there is no need for a compulsory inverter.
